Who you least expect is always just around the corner, waiting to jump out at you when you pass by, scare the crap out of you,

and change your life forever...

Sometimes I just want to kill everyone

My dad the comedian: (Speaking to my mom in the family room while frantically pointing out the front window at people walking by) "Honey look! That's the man whore I was telling you about!"

Quote of the now: "You don't need pants for the victory dance!" -Unknown

I'm home. Well not HOME, but back in Virginia. I'm living with Carri just like she asked. Rent is cheap, and I don't have the rents constantly looming over my shoulder monitoring my every move.

So what was the big suprise that Nick & Carri were so desperatly trying to hide? If I had a web cam I'd show you, but since I don't, just imgaine a very pretty 1/4 karate diamond ingagement ring. -Uncontrolable happiness!- I guess Nick & Carri were arguing over the fact that we're all so younge and that Nick & I shouldn't rush into things, but being apart for those months while I was at school in Neb. made him realize how much he wants me to be a part of his life forever.

Anyway I'm happy, but extremely busy! Sorry I haven't updated much. I'll try to get back on here on a regular basis.

Oh! I talked to my dad about how I feel shunned by him and he apologized and has been more affectionate. I can tell it's akward and hard for him to do sometimes but if he faltars I'll step up and kiss him on the cheek or hug him to let him know that I know he's trying.

Next thing on my list of things to do:

  • Find a job
  • Wish me luck! I'm off like a prom dress at a party!

    You win one day,
    you lose the next day,
    you don't take it personally.
    You get up every day
    and go on.

People have been strange lately towards me. I'm not sure what's going on with Andrew but I hope he gets over whatever is bothering him, and quickly. I don't like being pushed away. And I know he'll probably read this so, to you Andy let me at least try to help you with whatever is going on. I'm always here for you to talk to.

Other people that have been weird, my dad, Nick and Carri.

My dad's always a little weird towards me, like he doesn't know how to love me without feeling embarrassed, but lately it's worse. He won't even hug me or tell me he loves me like he used to. Maybe in his eyes I'm too old for that stuff, but I still enjoy getting a hug and a kiss on the forehead before I go to bed. Or hearing "Drive safely, I love you." before I leave to go out with friends. Hmm, oh well. I'll get over it.

Now Nick and Carri are definitely acting extremely strange. Sometimes while we're all at the cafe I'll mention something that I need to remember to do before I move back, and Carri will say, "Don't make any rash decisions." And then Nick will shoot her this secret look and he'll whisper something to her later when we're leaving. Sometimes I'll call Carri or Nick and they'll quickly tell me they are on the other line and that they'll call me back. Maybe something is going on between them that I don't know about. That's weird though because for the longest time Carri has had a thing for Josh. -Thinks- I don't know what's going on anymore with those two.

I've decided that I'm going to move back home! I'll still be here to write, probably not as frequently at first. Once I get settled in, and the excitement, of seeing all of my friends again, wears off I'll be back to write. I can't wait! -Runs around singing random babbling tunes- Whew!

-YAWN- I just woke up. Yes, I DO realize it's almost 6:30, but I had a late night last night so give me a break! Nick, Carri, Lyndi, Ben, Chad, Josh, and I all went to Insomnia. It was a blast! I really miss Virginia and all of my friends so much. Those boys are all crazy, too. They are the kind of kids that don't get into trouble but cause a lot of mischief when all together. I'm just as bad as they are, only usually I'm the brains behind the operation. I'll jokingly mention something that would be really awesome, but most devilish, and watch them as they go through with it. HA! I'm so evil. -Manic laughter-

    Anyway...

After having a few drinks and dancing a bit at the club, we all left, and began walking around the city, which would be highly dangerous if you didn't know where you were going and ended up in the wrong part of it, or if you weren't completely inebriated and if everyone that came with in a 10 foot radius of your rambunctious group wasn't tormented by horrible insults. I truly believe we scarred that couple for life. They'll probably never be able to look at each other naked again.
After walking around for a while I accidentally dropped my cell phone. It wouldn't have been so bad if the face plate wouldn't have popped off and went down the street drain. We had to pry one of those heavy circular drain covers off and climb down in there to retrieve it. Correction! Nick and Josh had to pry one of those heavy circular drain covers off and Nick had to climb down in there to retrieve it. I know I'm terrible, but there could have been rats down there, and probably were, and Nick could handle a rat much better than I could.
Shortly after that we caught a cab and went back to Nick and Josh's apartment, and stayed there watching movies. It was a lot of fun and I'm thinking of moving back home. Maybe not back into my house, but just back to Virginia, go to college there, and live with Carri. Her roommate is moving out anyway, so I think it's a sign. I have two weeks to decide, but I believe I've already made up my mind. I know my parents will be happy too, they hate paying for me to fly to and fro all the time. Plus then they'd have me in close enough range to throw gravy dishes once again.

Ahh, it's good to be home.
